Treatment for Depression
Are you feeling down, sad or depressed? Are you experiencing changes in your sleep patterns, appetite, or energy levels? Perhaps you're having a lot of negative thoughts about yourself or your future. Carolyn has extensive experience helping people with depression. She will listen to your concerns and provide you with practical strategies that you can use immediately to help you feel better. Carolyn uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), depending on the needs and wants of the individual.

Treatment for Anxiety
Are you experiencing a racing heart, tightening of the chest, quick breathing, restlessness, or feeling tense, wound up or on edge? Are you worrying a lot? Perhaps you're avoiding people or situations that make you feel anxious which are impacting on your study, work or social life? Carolyn has extensive experience helping people with anxiety, in particular those with social anxiety disorder (SAD) or generalised anxiety disorder (GAD). She will listen to your concerns and provide practical strategies that you can use immediately to help you feel better.

Carolyn can also help with a range of other issues impacting on your mental health. Some of these include: stress, sleeping problems, relationship problems and poor self-esteem. Carolyn also offers assertiveness and anger management training.
